Joanna is a writer, speaker, and mission-driven strategist with 15 years of experience helping nonprofits, government agencies, and tech organizations do more with what they have. By day, she's a fundraiser, marketer, and people manager who has guided teams of five to twelve, stewarded donor and client portfolios of 75 to 200, and helped nonprofits across the DC metro area increase fundraising anywhere from 20 to 100%. She's the kind of advisor who listens first and strategizes second — building data-driven plans that translate into real, measurable results.

Her career highlights include testifying before the Maryland State House and Senate, supporting $59 million in COVID-19 relief efforts in Montgomery County, contributing to record-breaking capital campaigns at multiple nonprofits, and helping prevent 9,000 DC-area families from experiencing homelessness. She has stewarded tens of millions of dollars in client portfolios and funds — and she takes that responsibility seriously.
