Biography of the Mayor

Sandy Jones is President, CEO & Founder of Quality Personnel, an independent regional temporary help service specializing in clerical and light industrial staffing. The company’s locations are in Bowling Green, Glasgow, Franklin, Russellville, Hopkinsville and Columbia, Kentucky. Quality Personnel began its service to south central Kentucky businesses in November of 1977.

Mrs. Jones is currently serving as Mayor of Bowling Green. She served as City Commissioner from 1999 through 2000.  "I view my position as mayor to be that of a 'public servant'.  The city's budget allows a little over $13,000 per year to compensate the mayor.  I choose however not to accept compensation for my service."

Other local honors include: Small Business Person of the Year, Athena Award winner, and various volunteer of the year recognitions. An active and committed volunteer to multiple civic groups, Sandy has been involved in the Bowling Green community since 1969.

Her husband, Martin Jones, is an economic development consultant.
